Ratio Tag Team 3v3 uses randomly generated point values each season so players build 3-fighter teams under 7 points, keeping the competitive meta fresh.

Smash 6 lets players queue into Online Quickplay Doubles playlists with a remote friend by inviting them to the party leader's group before matchmaking.
📄️ Stage Music
In SSB6, players will only hear stage music they want during Online play, instead of music an opposing player has set.
📄️ Random Stage Select
Smash 6 Random Stage Select lets players configure which stage visuals appear in Online Quickplay, since opponents only need to share the same Stage Type.
📄️ Rematch Prevention
Smash 6 Rematch Prevention blocks players from matching the same opponent for 3 hours after a rematch is declined, avoiding unwanted repeat matchups.
📄️ Handling Disconnects
In Smash 6, online matches end immediately on disconnect and the Home Button is disabled during ranked sets to prevent rage quitting.
