Legend Leaderboard

Smash 6 uses a Legend leaderboard for competition at the top of the ranking system.

You can see the following data for each Legend on the Legend Leaderboard:

  • Legend Leaderboard Rank: Players on the Legend Leaderboard are ordered by the win/loss ratio of their 10 most-recent sets. Players with the same Win/Loss Ratio will be rated according to Total Legend Set Wins for the current season. Players that are still tied will then be rated according to Peak Legend Leaderboard Rank, then Legend Veterancy. If no determination can be made, the players are considered tied. Players who have not yet played 10 sets in Legend Rank will be listed as Unranked on the leaderboard.
  • Player Name: The display name of the player
  • Top 3 Most Played Characters: The 3 characters the player has played the most sets with for their 10 most-recent sets
  • Win/Loss Ratio of the 10 most-recent sets played while in Legend Rank
  • Legend Set Wins: Total Set Wins this season while in Legend rank
  • Peak Seasonal Legend Leaderboard Rank: The highest placement on the Legend Leaderboard the player has achieved across this season
  • Peak All-Time Legend Leaderboard Rank: The highest placement on the Legend Leaderboard the player has achieved across all seasons
  • Legend Veterancy: Total Number of Seasons this player has achieved Legend Rank
  • Region: The region the player is from (what server(s) facilitate the matchmaking for the player)
  • Mastery Badges: The mastery badges the player has obtained

Listings on the Legend Leaderboard can be filtered out by selecting a character. Entries that do not have the selected character in their Top 3 are filtered out. Listings can also be filtered by region, player name, or filtered by excluding players without specific Nameplate Mastery Badges.

Notes​

Even though players are restricted to a specific regional matchmaking server (sometimes servers), this is a global leaderboard shared by all players.

Why It Matters​

For players at the highest rank, a leaderboard can encourage them to keep playing.
