Super Smash Bros 6 - Wired Connection Preference
In Super Smash Bros 6, if the console is currently connected to the internet via a wired connection, an option becomes available that allows the player to restrict matchmaking to only other players who are also on a wired connection.
This is a long-requested feature, as Wi-Fi connections lack the stability of a wired connection. Players on a wired connection generally prefer a longer queue time over playing on an unstable connection. Note that the majority of players will still be playing on Wi-Fi, so enabling this option will have little impact on Wi-Fi players' ability to find a match.
