Remote Friend

Shine On allows playing Online Quickplay with a remote friend. One player is invited to the party leader's group and queues into the matchmaking system.

Team-Attack Doubles and Team Battle can no longer be played with a random remote teammate.

Notes​

Doubles is an extremely popular format in Smash Bros, so it's important to be able to play with your friend / family member even if you are not in the same physical location.
