Playable Fighter Updates

Below is the list of Playable Fighter specific changes made in the transition from SSBU to SSB6.

Banjo & Kazooie

  • Rear Egg now has two variations, a tap-input and a hold-input. The tap-input is the grenade. The Hold-Input will have Kazooie produce a Golden Egg. A character can consume the Golden Egg to temporarily increase the damage they deal. The effect won't stack if multiple Golden Eggs are consumed. There is a Golden Egg meter similar to the Golden Feather meter. If there is no Golden Egg meter remaining, then a grenade egg will be produced instead.
  • Pressing Attack + Special during Breegull Blaster will cause Banjo to use his Forward-Tilt
  • Removed Intangibility from aerial Shock Spring Jump
  • Overdrive: Infinite Golden Feathers, Infinite Golden Eggs, Increased Damage of all attacks
  • Final Smash Attack: The initial hit of The Mighty Jinjonator
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: The Mighty Jinjonator
  • Assist Move: Dash Attack

Bayonetta

  • Overdrive: Negate Witch Time Use Frequency Penalties, Negate Increased Landing Lag Penalties, Ignore Dodge Frequency Penalties, 100% damage Negation of Bat Within
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Infernal Climax
  • Assist Move: Heel Slide

Bowser

  • The Intangibility of Flying Slam is now Invincibility instead
  • Overdrive: Longer Fire Breath Duration, Faster Fire Breath Recharge, Down-Tilt can cancel into Whirling Fortress and Bowser Bomb. Neutral Attack 2 can cancel into Bowser Bomb.
  • Final Smash Attack: Giga Bowser Punch now functions similar to Gannondorf's Final Smash Attack, doing a quick transformation then punching rather than moving to the background.
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Giga Bowser
  • Assist Move: Up-Tilt

Bowser Jr.

  • Bowser Jr can now use Abandon Ship during Clown Kart Dash, launching the exploding Clown Car forward.
  • Bowser Jr. can now use his standard Up-Aerial when outside of the Clown Cart.
  • Overdrive: Pom-Pom assists Bowser Jr in battle as if the Assist Trophy was used
  • Final Smash Attack: Wonder Bowser Jr.
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Shadow Mario
  • Assist Move: Mechakoopa

Byleth

  • Reduced Down-Air strength
  • Overdrive: Increased damage dealt by all attacks, reduced damage received, increased walk and run speed. In team games, this boost will also apply to teammates.
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Progenitor God Ruptured Heaven
  • Assist Move: Down-Tilt

Captain Falcon

  • Updated Turnaround Dash animation to avoid sliding backwards for a few frames
  • Overdrive: Forward Tilt can cancel into Raptor Boost, Falcon Kick, and Dash (Double Tap-Left or Right during the cancel window). Neutral Attack 1, 2, and 3 can cancel into Raptor Boost. Increased Neutral-Special power.
  • Final Smash Attack: The initial hit of Blue Falcon
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Universe Falcon Punch - A cinematic Falcon Punch reminiscent of the scene from the anime.
  • Assist Move: Raptor Boost

Charizard

  • Pokémon Change now fails in Tag Team mode.
  • Charizard does not automatically switch to Squirtle when KO’d in Tag Team mode.
  • Pokémon Change now has 3 frames of startup
  • Overdrive: Increased Fire Attack Damage, faster Flamethrower recharge rate. Up-Smash can cancel into Fly. Forward-air will auto-cancel from a short-hop
  • Final Smash Attack: Fire Blast
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack (without Pokemon Trainer): Mega Charizard X
  • Ultimate Final Smash (with Pokemon Trainer): Triple Finish
  • Assist Move: Flamethrower (Brief)

Cloud

  • Cross Slash Hit 2 and 3 now have 3 Frames of Startup
  • Removed Auto-Cancel window of Neutral Aerial, Up Aerial, and Back Aerial when not in Limit Break status
  • Overdrive: Triples the Limit Gauge fill rate
  • Final Smash Attack: Blade Burst
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Omnislash
  • Assist Move: Dash-Attack

Corrin

  • Counter (Counter Surge) has been replaced by Dragon Surge, where Corrin enters Dragon form and stomps the ground, similar to the Counter effect of Counter Surge
  • The Intangibility on Dragon Ascent is now Invincibility instead
  • Overdrive: Dragon Shot charge time is greatly reduced, increased power of Down-Special
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Torrential Roar
  • Assist Move: Up-Air (Short Hop)

Diddy Kong

  • Diddy can now only pull a maximum of 3 Banana Peels per stock, and has a Banana meter similar to Banjo's Golden Feather meter
  • Banana Peels will disappear after hitting a character one time
  • Overdrive: Infinite Banana Peels. Down-Special will place the Banana in Diddy's hand as a throwable item instead of Diddy throwing it in the air. Gains Armor during Rocket Barrel Boost.
  • Final Smash Attack: DK Barrel - Throws a DK Barrel
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Hyper Rocket Barrel - An alternate cinematic version of Hyper Rocket Barrel
  • Assist Move: Dash Attack

Donkey Kong

  • If Donkey Kong is in the air and currently performing Cargo Carry, the only move he can use is Cargo-Up-Throw
  • Hand Slap deals increased damage to buried foes
  • Overdrive: Reduced Punch Charge time, Increased Neutral-Special Power, Increased Back-Throw power, Hand Slap can cancel into Dash
  • Final Smash Attack: Jungle Rush (slightly shortened)
  • Ultimate Final Smash: DK Crew - the Kong Family from DK64 contribute to a cinematic attack
  • Assist Move: Hand Slap (tap input)

Dr. Mario

  • The endlag of Dr. Tornado can be canceled by Super Jump Punch
  • Jab 1 and 2 now have 3 Frames of Startup
  • The Armor of grounded Dr. Tornado is now Intangibility instead and begins on Frame 3
  • Overdrive: Increased distance of Super Jump Punch, Increased Neutral-Special Damage, Movement attributes match Mario's
  • Final Smash Attack: Mushroom Recovery - Eats a mushroom to restore 40% HP.
  • Ultimate Final Smash: Doctor Finale
  • Assist Move: Megavitamin

Duck Hunt

  • The Clay Pigeon can now only be shot by inputting Side-Special
  • Trick Shot now has 3 Frames of Startup for generating the can and shooting the can
  • Overdrive: Allows Duck Hunt to have 2 Cans out at once.
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash: NES Zapper Posse
  • Assist Move: Clay Shooting (clay pigeon only)

Falco

  • Increased reflector damage and speed multiplier to 1.4x
  • Jab 1 now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • Overdrive: Blaster can cancel into Jump, Dash, and Air-Dodge. Does not have to hit to cancel. All Aerial Attacks can cancel into Air-Dodge.
  • Final Smash Attack: Arwing Support
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Team Star Fox
  • Assist Move: Reflector

Fox

  • Reduced travel distance of Fire Fox to match Falco's Fire Bird
  • Jab 1 and 2 now have 3 Frames of Startup
  • Overdrive: Reflector can cancel into Jump, Dash, and Air-Dodge. Does not have to hit to cancel. Additionally, Fox will not be able to Roll while in Overdrive. Instead, inputting Forward-Roll will cause Fox to Wavedash forward and inputting Back-Roll will cause Fox to Wavedash back. (Here, the Wavedash is a unique move that puts Fox into a grounded sliding state that he can perform actions in.)
  • Final Smash Attack: Peppy Barrel Roll
  • Ultimate Final Smash: Team Star Fox
  • Assist Move: Fox Illusion

Ganondorf

  • Additional frames of armor are added to grounded Warlock Punch, so that there is no longer a gap before the first frame of the attack
  • Ganondorf has a new passive Fighter Ability called King of the Gerudo, giving Ganondorf immunity to Curse, causing his attacks to ignore Armor, and causing his attacks to break Counters
  • Flame Choke now has projectile invincibility during it's dash
  • Overdrive: Neutral Attack can cancel into Flame Choke and Wizard's Foot. Increased Neutral-Special Damage and Shield Damage.
  • Final Smash Attack: Ganon, Demon King
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Spirit of Malice
  • Assist Move: Flame Choke

Greninja

  • Counter (Substitute) has been replaced with Water Veil, which negates projectiles
  • Overdrive: Increases the range of Water Kunai attacks
  • Final Smash Attack: Ash-Greninja
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Secret Ninja Attack
  • Assist Move: Neutral-Air (Full Hop)

Hero

  • A Critical Hit can no longer occur when Items are turned off in the Ruleset
  • Whack, Thwack, Metal Slash, Kaclang, and Hocus Pocus can no longer be in the Command Selection menu when Items are turned off in the Ruleset
  • Bang and Kaboom can appear together in the Command Selection Menu
  • Sizz and Sizzle can appear together in the Command Selection Menu
  • The MP Cost of Command Selection moves is now listed next to each item, instead of in a separate box, and the move does not have to be hovered over to see the MP cost
  • The Command Selection moves now show a unique icon per move next to the mana cost of each item
  • The MP Cost of Psyche Up is now 17 MP
  • The MP Cost of Snooze is now 18 MP
  • The MP Cost of Zoom is now 19 MP
  • Overdrive: Halves the MP cost of spells
  • Final Smash Attack: Thwack
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Gigaslash
  • Assist Move: Zap

Ice Climbers

  • Overdrive: Increase chance of freezing with Ice Blocks and Blizzard. Nana will face the opposite direction of Popo when using Blizzard.
  • Final Smash Attack: Freezie Blocks - This is similar to Ice Blocks, but instead of normal Ice Blocks, the Ice climbers hit Freezies
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Iceberg
  • Assist Move: Ice Block

Ike

  • Counter has been replaced by Radiance, which functions similarly to Hero's Kazap without the initial hit, and with a Blue Flame effect
  • Removed Armor from Aether
  • Overdrive: Adds a Blue Flame effect to Ike's sword, increasing its range and damage. Forward Smash will emit Blade Beams of blue fire.
  • Final Smash Attack: The initial hit of Great Aether
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Great Aether
  • Assist Move: Eruption (uncharged)

Incineroar

  • Overdrive: Doubles the stat boost provided by Revenge. Revenge cannot be lost during Overdrive. The endlag of the initial jump of Cross-Chop can be canceled into Alolan Whip and Air-Dodge.
  • Final Smash Attack: Gives Incineroar max revenge stacks
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Max Malcious Moonsault
  • Assist Move: Darkest Lariat

Inkling

  • Removed Bury Property from Splat Roller
  • Reduced Ink Cost of Splat Roller
  • Increased the amount of stage that can be inked at one time
  • Further reduced movement speed and jump height of foes standing in ink
  • Jab 2 now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • Inkling won't recharge Ink if two Shield buttons are being held and Special is pressed.
  • Overdrive: Infinite Ink
  • Final Smash Attack: Mini Splatling
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Killer Wail
  • Assist Move: Splattershot (Brief)

Isabelle

  • Increased knockback and damage of Neutral Attack
  • When Isabelle pummels a foe during a grab, if she does not currently have a pocketed item, she will be given a fixed pocketed item based on the character that was pummeled. For characters that can create projectiles, the pocketed item is one of their projectiles. For other characters, this will be a Food item.
  • Overdrive: Item Power Up, Item Throwing Power Up, Projectile Power Up. Any item in stored in Pocket will be duplicated, allowing for two uses of it from the Pocket.
  • Final Smash Attack: Item Pull - Isabelle pulls a random item out of her pocket, which may be one of Unira, X-Bomb, Star Rod, Lip's Stick, Soccer Ball, Pokeball, Bob-omb, Hothead, Beam Sword, Super Mushroom
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack - Dream Town Hall
  • Assist Move: Forward Smash (Uncharged)

Ivysaur

  • Pokémon Change now fails in Tag Team mode
  • Ivysaur does not automatically switch to Charizard when KO’d in Tag Team mode
  • Pokémon Change now has 3 frames of startup
  • Overdrive: Restores HP over time, increases movement speed, increases air speed
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack (without Pokemon Trainer): Solarbeam
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack (with Pokemon Trainer): Triple Finish
  • Assist Move: Razor Leaf

Jigglypuff

  • Rest Intangibility is now Invincibility
  • Rest now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • Overdrive: Reduces end lag of Rest. Sing can be Jump and Shield canceled (does not have to hit). Foes put to sleep by Sing will be asleep for a fixed duration.
  • Final Smash: Puff Up
  • Ultimate Final Smash: Jigglypuff's Song - puts all characters (except self) to sleep
  • Assist Move: Sing

Joker

  • Rebellion Gauge is now exclusively gained from absorbing attacks with Rebel's Guard
  • Rebellion Gauge is now emptied when Joker is KO'd
  • Tetrakarn is removed. Makarakarn always activates when down-special is used while Arsene is active
  • Removed Intangibility from Wings of Rebellion
  • Overdrive: Summons Arsene
  • Final Smash Attack: The initial hit of All-Out-Attack
  • Ultimate Final Smash: All-Out Attack
  • Assist Move: Grappling Hook

Kazuya

  • Kazuya will now lose Rage Drive on the first missed Rage Drive attempt (Grab or Down-Special)
  • Kazuya will now lose Rage Drive upon taking 25% damage instead of 37%
  • Kazuya will now lose Rage Drive after 20 seconds have passed
  • Removed Intangibility from Down-Tilt
  • Removed Intangibility from Spinning Demon to Left Hook
  • Removed Reflector from Left Splits Kick
  • Electric Wind God Fist is now a "Just-Frame" attack, having only 1 frame for activation instead of 3 frames
  • Overdrive: All inputs of Wind God Fist will become Electric Wind God Fist
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Final Blaster
  • Assist Move: Stature Smash

Ken

  • Neutral Attack 1 (Tapped) now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • Neutral Attack 1 (Tapped) will transition to Neutral Attack 2 (Tapped) and Neutral Attack 3 (Tapped) if whiffed and additional tap inputs are performed during the attack
  • The armor on Focus Attack begins on Frame 3
  • Removed full-body Intangibility from aerial Shoryuken
  • Removed Light Ankle Kick (Tap-Input Down-Tilt)
  • Removed Elbow Strike (Tap-Input Up-Tilt)
  • Overdrive: All special moves will be considered command-input.
  • Final Smash Attack: Shinryuken
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Shippu Jinraikyaku
  • Assist Move: Shoryuken (not command input)

King Dedede

  • King Dedede can now swallow inhaled foes, like Kirby
  • If King Dedede inhales a foe in the air, he will always immediately swallow them
  • The Intangibility frames Dedede has after he inhales a foe are now Invincibility
  • King Dedede can now hit Gordos with his hammer after tossing them without requiring an opponent to have hit the Gordo first
  • The full-body Intangibility of Super Dedede Jump is now Invincibility instead
  • Overdrive: Gives Dedede the Hyper Smash Attacks spirit power. Additionally, Forward-Smash can be canceled into Forward-Tilt, Up-Smash can be canceled into Jump, and Down-Smash can be canceled into Down-Tilt.
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Dedede-Rush
  • Assist Move: Gordo Throw (neutral angle)

King K. Rool

  • If K. Rool is in the air and sucks in an opponent with the Blunderbuss, he can only shoot them upwards
  • Gut Check will now fully restore King K. Rool's Belly Armor HP whenever the move is used
  • Gut Check is now just a Reflector
  • Reduced endlag of Gut Check when not reflecting a projectile
  • Added Belly Armor to Propeller
  • Propeller can now be be B-Reversed
  • Overdrive: Gives K. Rool Infinite Belly Armor, Significantly Increased Weight, allows Crownerang to be canceled into Jump and Dash, and gives the Reduced Landing Lag spirit power.
  • Final Smash Attack: Gas Cloud - Randomly shoots a Red, Blue, or Purple Gas Cloud which have their corresponding effects from Donkey Kong Country 2
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Blast-o-Matic
  • Assist Move: Dash Attack

Kirby

  • If Kirby inhales a foe in the air, he will always immediately swallow them
  • Copy Power multiplier is increased to 1.25x
  • In Tag Team, Inhale can suck up characters from your own team
  • Jab 1 now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • Overdrive: Increased air speed, Significantly increased HP recovery from swallowing food and other items, further increased Copy Power multiplier
  • Final Smash Attack: Warp Star
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Final Cutter
  • Assist Move: Inhale & Swallow (when he has no copied ability) / Copied Ability (when he has a copied ability)
  • Overdrive: Replaces Forward-tilt with a new move, Megaton Hammer, and replaces Grab with Hookshot. Also allows Neutral Attack 1 and 2 to cancel into Spin Attack.
  • Final Smash Attack: Ancient Arrow (slightly less power)
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Champions of Hyrule
  • Assist Move: Remote Bomb (throws a bomb if one is not already out, or detonates an existing bomb)

Little Mac

  • Counter (Slip Counter) has been replaced by Power Charge, which functions similarly to Cloud's Limit Charge and charges Little Mac's Power Meter
  • The Power Meter 0.3x multiplier is now applied to damage received instead of damage dealt
  • Pummel damage increased to 2.5%
  • Removed Intangibility from aerial Jolt Haymaker
  • Removed Intangibility from aerial Rising Uppercut
  • Removed Super Armor from Little Mac's Smash-Attacks
  • Jab 1 and 2 now have 3 Frames of Startup
  • Neutral-Air now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • The Armor of Straight Lunge now begins on Frame 3
  • Overdrive: Doubles Power Charge fill rate
  • Final Smash Attack: The initial hit of Giga Mac
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Giga Mac
  • Assist Move: Power Charge (Raises Little Mac’s Power Meter)

Lucario

  • Counter (Double Team) is replaced with Aura Charge, rapidly giving Lucario damage while the move is held
  • Added particle effect for initial launcher hitboxes of Up-Smash
  • Overdrive: Increased maximum Aura multiplier and capping percentage (from 190% up to 250%)
  • Final Smash Attack: A quick horizontal Kamehameha
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Aura Storm
  • Assist Move: Force Palm

Lucas

  • Jab 1 now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • Overdrive: Increases PSI Magnet HP Recovery, Reduces startup and endlag of Up-Smash, and gives the PSI Attack Up spirit power.
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: PK Starstorm
  • Assist Move: PSI Magnet

Lucina

  • Counter only protects the direction the character is facing
  • Removed Intangibility from aerial Dolphin Slash
  • Added particle effect for initial launcher hitboxes of Up-Smash
  • Overdrive: Adds Tipper effects to Falchion, similar to Marth. Increased Neutral-Special Shield Damage.
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash: Critical Hit
  • Assist Move: Dolphin Slash

Luigi

  • Super Jump Punch now has it's power scaled (reduced) when used as part of a combo
  • Removed Intangibility from aerial Super Jump Punch
  • Aerial Luigi Cyclone invincibility now starts on frame 3
  • Jab 1 now has 3 Frames of Startup
  • Overdrive: Guarantees a Misfire from Green Missile
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Poltergust G-00
  • Assist Move: Fireball

Mario

  • Jab 1 and 2 now have 3 Frames of Startup
  • Removed intangibility of aerial Super Jump Punch
  • Overdrive: Becomes Metal
  • Final Smash Attack: Mega Mushroom - Mario transforms with a Mega Mushroom, performs an attack, then transforms back to normal
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Mario Finale
  • Assist Move: Fireball

Marth

  • Counter only protects the direction the character is facing
  • Removed Intangibility from aerial Dolphin Slash
  • Added particle effect for initial launcher hitboxes of Up-Smash
  • Overdrive: Removes Tipper effects from Falchion, similar to Lucina. Increased Neutral-Special Shield Damage.
  • Final Smash Attack: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Critical Hit
  • Assist Move: Shield Breaker (Uncharged)

Mega Man

  • Removed Intangibility from Rush Coil
  • Overdrive: Mega Man will automatically charge-up a charge-shot during Overdrive. Pressing Neutral Attack, Forward-Tilt, or Neutral Air will release the charge shot.
  • Final Smash Attack: The initial projectile from Mega Legends
  • Ultimate Final Smash: Mega Legends (with Zero and Mega Man Zero added)
  • Assist Move: Neutral Attack x3

Meta Knight

  • Forward Tilt 2 and 3 now have 3 Frames of Startup
  • Overdrive: Meta Knight's sword becomes cloaked in darkness, adding the Darkness effect to all sword attacks. Meta Knight will also have an increased Offensive Meter Gain Multiplier during Overdrive.
  • Final Smash: New
  • Ultimate Final Smash: Darkness Illusion
  • Assist Move: Dimensional Cape

Mewtwo

  • Added particle effect for initial launcher hitboxes of Up-Smash
  • Overdrive: The endlag of Teleport can be canceled into Shadow Ball, Confusion, Disable, or any Aerial Attack
  • Final Smash Attack: Psystrike (slightly reduced power)
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: A giant energy ball thrown similarly to Kid Buu's Planet Burst (Mewtwo also does this in the Pokemon Journey's anime)
  • Assist Move: Confusion

Mii Brawler

  • The Special Moves this character uses as the default (1, 1, 1, 1) have been changed to Flashing Mach Punch, Burning Dropkick, Thrust Uppercut, Feint Jump
  • When this character is selected on the Character Select Screen, the first in the list of choices is always the Default Costume with default Special Moves
  • When this character is selected on the Character Select Screen, the second in the list of choices is always a Random Matching Costume with default Special Moves. (The Hat and Outfit will belong to the same set)
  • Counter (Counter Throw) has been removed and replaced by a move similar to Lucario's Long Range Force Palm custom move from Smash 4
  • Jab 1 and 2 now have 3 Frames of Startup
  • The Custom Moves that are being used are now displayed on the match loading screen (with number and move name)
  • An Online Setting is now available to set the costume used by opponents during Online Quickplay
  • If using the default outfit in a Team game, the outfit color will change to the team color
  • Kirby will now copy the Neutral-Special Move being used instead of always copying the default Neutral-Special move
  • Overdrive: All Special Moves become the default selections (1,1,1,1). Then, when holding the Tag-In 1 button and using a Special Move, the Special Move used will come from set 2 (2,2,2,2). When holding the Tag-In 2 button and using a Special Move, the Special Move used will come from set 3 (3,3,3,3). Will be unable to call assists or tag-in during Overdrive.
  • Final Smash Attack: The initial hit of Omega Blitz
  • Ultimate Final Smash Attack: Omega Blitz
  • Assist Move: Burning Dropkick

Mii Gunner

  • The Special Moves this character uses as the default (1, 1, 1, 1) have been changed to Charge Blast, Gunner Missile, Arm Rocket, Bomb Drop
  • When this character is selected on the Character Select Screen, the first in the list of choices is always the Default Costume with default Special Moves
  • When this character is selected on the Character Select Screen, the second in the list of choices is always a Random Matching Costume with Default Special Moves. (The Hat and Outfit will belong to the same set)
  • The Custom Moves that are being used are now displayed on the match loading screen (with number and move name)
  • An Online Setting is now available to set the costume used by opponents during Online Quickplay
  • If using the default outfit in a Team game, the outfit color will change to the team color
  • Kirby will now copy the Neutral-Special Move being used instead of always copying the default Neutral-Special move
  • Overdrive: All Special Moves become the default selections (1,1,1,1). Then, when holding the Tag-In 1 button and using a Special Move, the Special Move used will come from set 2 (2,2,2,2). For characters that can create projectiles, the pocketed item is one of their projectiles. For other characters, this will be a Food item.
  • Overdrive: Item Power Up, Item Throwing Power Up, Projectile Power Up. Any item in stored in Pocket will be duplicated, allowing for two uses of it from the Pocket.
