Squad Strike Tag-Team: Tag-In

A Tag-In option is available in the Tag Team Rules menu. When enabled, it allows character tag-ins in 3v3 Tag Team mode. This means that you can change characters during the match if your active character is currently in a state that allows swapping. The Tag-In mechanic is visually and functionally equivalent to Pyra/Mythra’s Swap.

This brings Team Theory Crafting to Tag-Team in Smash 6.

It's a true Tag-Team experience that lets the full roster shine because some characters are better or worse when put into certain situations. It helps the Tag-Team feel like a real team.

For example, the player may want a team comprised of a character that builds up percent easy + a power character to close outs stocks + a character with great recovery. Perhaps they may want a heavyweight for survivability instead? Or characters that can cover each other's weaknesses? Maybe there is a particular strategy or synergy the player wants to emphasize with their team of three.

Alternatively, maybe the player enjoys building thematic teams. An all heroes team? All villains team? Three characters from the same franchise? Three fire-themed characters? Perhaps just the player's three favorite characters?

There's tons of room for players to build teams they can express themselves with.
