Assist Supporters
Some Assist Fighters are classified as Assist Supporters. This means they do not support the Permanent Assist Fighters option. Typically, this is because they cannot be K.O'd or are considered more powerful than the average Assist Fighter.
Notes
At least 12 of the listed new Assist Fighters are intended to be post-launch DLC to allow for 3 years worth of quarterly Assist Fighter additions.
