Lite Edition
Smash 6 offers a Lite Edition of the game, free for Nintendo Switch Online members. The Lite Edition only contains the Tutorial, Tips, Training, and Online Quickplay, and only a static subset (43) of the Playable Fighters are available to pick on the Character Select Screen.

The Lite Edition allows even more players to experience Smash Bros.
Players who are on the fence about purchasing the full version may be interested in buying it after they experience how fun the game is.
Lite Edition players can play Online Quickplay with players on the full version, which will naturally increase the active player base.
